I am a filmmaker and photographer living with my wife, Jen, in Seattle, Washington. We recently moved to Seattle from Los Angeles after I graduated with an MFA in Film Production from the University of Southern California (2008). Relocating to Seattle was somewhat of a homecoming for both of us: a few years earlier, I graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Spanish (2003), and Jen moved from Michigan to Seattle for her first job out of college. We live in the neighborhood of Ballard, and if you’re ever in the area we’d love to show you some of our favorite local attractions: Delancey’s, Cafe Besalu, The Ballard Locks, and Sunset Hill Park, to name just a few (of many).
Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to have had the pleasure to work with some very talented, passionate people. Many of the films I’ve worked on have screened in the world’s most prestigious film festivals and won numerous awards, including an Oscar nomination for the film KAVI, on which I worked as the cinematographer (Best Live-Action Short Film Nominee, 2010). I’m humbled by the tremendously talented and compassionate individuals I’ve worked with and am grateful for what’s coming up on the horizon.
